Erzsébet is a Barcelona‑based Symphonic Black Metal band formed in 2020, conceptually centered on the figure of Elizabeth Bathory. Their music blends the cold ferocity of black metal with dramatic orchestral arrangements, gothic atmospheres, and a strong narrative focus on decadence, cruelty, and aristocratic horror. These releases paved the way for their first full‑length album, “Six Hundred and Fifty” (2024), a concept album exploring the mythos surrounding the alleged 650 victims attributed to Elizabeth Bathory. The record stands as their most ambitious work to date, weaving together symphonic grandeur, black metal aggression, and a narrative arc steeped in blood, power, and gothic mysticism.
