Infamis was a shortālived but potent Polish pagan black metal project active in the late 1990s. Emerging from the ÅódÅŗ region during a period of intense underground creativity, the band fused raw black metal aggression with pagan mysticism, antiāChristian polemic, and a distinctly Slavic woodland atmosphere.
Their sound belongs to the early Polish pagan black metal lineage ā harsh, unpolished, ritualistic ā closer to the rawer side of Graveland, early Gontyna Kry, and the cassetteāera pagan underground.
