Morgon began in 2007 as a two‑man studio project before expanding into a full band the following year. Their sound fuses melodic death‑metal intensity with black‑metal atmosphere, creating a style that is both aggressive and steeped in occult mysticism. Across their releases, Morgon leans into themes of death, chaos, and esoteric liberation, carried by dual‑vocal interplay and a guitar‑driven melodic core.

Their early demos Formless Divine (2009) and Saint of Death (2011), along with the EP Infinitas (2010), laid the groundwork for a sound that became fully realized on their debut full‑length Black Light of Liberation (2014). The follow‑up Evoking Eternity (2017) expanded their melodic and atmospheric range, solidifying Morgon as a consistent force within the Saxony‑Anhalt underground.
