Mornië Utúlië is an atmospheric black‑metal project from Rzeszów in the Podkarpackie region, active from 2013 into the late 2010s. The name—Mornië Utúlië, meaning “the darkness has come” in Tolkien’s Quenya—perfectly captures the project’s emotional and aesthetic core: introspective darkness, dreamlike melancholy, and a deep connection to nature and inner landscapes.
Driven entirely by Bartek Brożek, the project belongs to the Polish school of atmospheric black metal that favors emotional storytelling, poetic melancholy, and a raw but immersive sound. Mornië Utúlië’s music is intimate, solitary, and deeply personal—less about aggression, more about drifting through memory, night, and inner shadow.
Mornië Utúlië’s sound is shaped by:

Despite being active for only a few years, the project produced a remarkably rich body of work:
A gathering of early material—sketches of the project’s emerging atmosphere.
A poetic, melancholic track exploring inner darkness.
More cosmic in tone, blending atmospheric black metal with dreamlike ambience.
A major early statement.
The title means “Dreams”, and the album feels exactly like that—hazy, emotional, drifting.
“From dusk till dawn.”
A nocturnal, introspective release exploring the emotional symbolism of night.
One of the project’s most substantial works.
Cold, melancholic, and atmospheric—an immersion in emotional shadow.
A continuation of the dream‑themed aesthetic, darker and more refined.
A collaborative release that situates Mornië Utúlië within the broader atmospheric scene.
“In the vastness of night.”
A return to nocturnal themes, more expansive and emotionally heavy.
The project’s most ambitious and cosmic release.
Blends atmospheric black metal with metaphysical and dreamlike concepts.
Mornië Utúlië stands out for:
Though its current status is unclear, Mornië Utúlië remains a haunting presence in the Polish atmospheric black‑metal underground—a project defined by emotional honesty, nocturnal beauty, and the quiet darkness of the self.
