ON was a melodic black/death metal band from Madrid, active from the late 1990s into the mid‑2000s. Their sound blended the sharp riffing and aggression of melodic death metal with the cold atmosphere and vocal approach of black metal. Though their discography is small, ON became a recognizable name in the Madrid underground thanks to their tight musicianship and the emotional weight of their compositions.

The band released their first demo, Semina (2003), which introduced their melodic yet dark approach. This was followed by the EP Laetentia (2005), a more polished and widely circulated recording that earned strong underground reception. Their only full‑length, Vesania (2006), represents the peak of their sound—melodic, intense, and thematically centered on death, inner darkness, and emotional collapse.

ON also appeared on the compilation Spain Kills Vol. 02: Death Metal (Xtreem Music, 2008) with the track “Cisma,” marking their final known activity. After this, the band quietly disappeared, with no official disbandment date recorded.
