Stained Blood was one of the most intense and technically sharp extreme‑metal bands to emerge from Catalonia in the mid‑2000s. Beginning as a deathcore‑leaning melodic death metal act, they gradually evolved toward a darker, more atmospheric blackened melodic death metal sound, culminating in some of the most ambitious and polished extreme‑metal albums in the Spanish underground.

Their early years were defined by raw aggression and breakdown‑driven structures, captured in Demo 2006 and the EP Suicide Werewolf (2010). With the release of One Last Warning (2013), Stained Blood stepped into a more mature, melodic, and technically demanding territory, blending Scandinavian‑influenced melodeath with modern brutality.

The turning point came with Hadal (2015), a dense, atmospheric, and emotionally heavy album that pushed them toward blackened textures and deeper, more layered songwriting. Their final full‑length, Nyctosphere (2019), stands as their most ambitious work: cold, cosmic, and immersive, merging black‑metal dissonance with melodic death metal precision. It cemented Stained Blood as a band capable of evolving far beyond their deathcore origins.

In 2021, after fifteen years of activity, the band split up—quietly, without spectacle—leaving behind a discography that charts a clear, determined artistic evolution from youthful brutality to sophisticated, atmospheric extremity.
