Wanderer was a short‑lived pagan/viking‑metal band from Málaga, active between 2006 and 2008. Their sound combined epic pagan melodies, acoustic passages, and raw viking‑metal aggression, with lyrics centered on ancient warfare, pagan spirituality, and occult myth. Despite their brief existence, they produced two full‑length albums in consecutive years, leaving behind a compact but fully formed discography.
Their debut Pilgrims of Fire (2007) introduced a melodic, battle‑driven pagan‑metal style, while the follow‑up Orphans of Dawn (2008) expanded their sound with more atmospheric and acoustic elements. After 2008, the band dissolved, with members moving on to other underground projects—most notably guitarist Wulfheim, who continued under his own name in various black‑metal acts.
