Yuggoth is a young instrumental doom‑metal project from Extremadura, active since 2022 and not to be confused with the unrelated Yuggoth from Gijón (Asturias). The project focuses on slow, oppressive, atmospheric doom, relying entirely on instrumental composition to build mood—dense riffs, cavernous ambience, and a sense of cosmic dread that fits the Lovecraftian name.
Their debut demo THOG (2022) is their only known release so far: a raw, minimalistic, heavy recording that establishes their aesthetic—bleak, monolithic, and wordless.
