Zirce was a folk/power‑metal band from Toro (Zamora, Castile and León), active in the early 2000s and part of the small but lively Castilian folk‑metal underground of that era. Their music blended melodic power‑metal structures with folk instrumentation—especially violin—and a warm, rural Castilian atmosphere.
Their only known release is the 2004 self‑titled demo Zirce, which captured their early sound: upbeat folk melodies, power‑metal guitar work, and a strong emphasis on violin and keyboards. After several lineup changes, the band eventually dissolved, with some members moving on to more established Spanish metal acts.
