Night Symphony was a melodic death/folk metal band from Rivas‑Vaciamadrid, active between 2006 and 2014. Emerging from the Madrid suburban underground, the band fused Scandinavian‑influenced melodic death metal with folk‑tinged melodies, keyboards, and a youthful, energetic approach to songwriting. Their sound leaned toward bright guitar harmonies, keyboard atmospheres, and a balance between harsh and clean vocal textures.

Their first recording, the self‑titled Night Symphony demo (2010), captured the band’s early identity: melodic riffing, folk‑inspired keyboard lines, and a raw but enthusiastic performance style. In 2013 they released the EP From the Deepest Roots, their most polished and mature work. This EP showcased stronger folk elements, tighter arrangements, and a clearer sense of direction, marking the high point of their brief career.

By 2014, the band appears to have dissolved quietly, with several members later resurfacing in Ulfsark, another Madrid‑area folk/melodic death project. Night Symphony remains one of those short‑lived but earnest names in the Spanish underground—bands that captured a moment, left a small footprint, and then vanished.
