Sur Austru is a Romanian atmospheric folk/black metal band formed in 2018 in Arad, Arad County. Emerging from the ashes of Negură Bunget after the death of founding member Negru, the band continues the spiritual and sonic legacy of Transylvanian black metal. Their music invokes nature, folklore, and ancestral memory through immersive compositions and ritualistic depth. Signed to Avantgarde Music, Sur Austru remains a vital force in the Romanian underground.
