Aeloth was a short‑lived but striking raw black metal project from Skopje, active during the mid‑2010s and centered entirely around the creative vision of T. T., who performed all instruments and vocals. The project embraced a harsh, primitive aesthetic rooted in darkness, death, ancient mythic imagery and occult symbolism. Its sound was abrasive, lo‑fi and ritualistic—very much aligned with the Balkan underground’s taste for unfiltered extremity.
Despite its brief existence, Aeloth was unusually prolific in 2016, releasing a cluster of recordings that captured different facets of its raw, occult‑driven identity:
A raw, atmospheric introduction to the project’s sound—buzzing guitars, distant vocals and a thematic focus on forgotten deities and ancient rites.
A shorter, more focused piece steeped in death‑ritual ambience and bleak melodic phrasing.
A slightly more structured release, expanding the project’s occult and antiquity‑driven themes while maintaining its harsh, unpolished production.
Aeloth’s contribution to this split continued the project’s descent into death‑soaked mysticism, pairing well with other raw underground acts of the region.
All material was written and performed by:
T. T. – Everything
Also known from the project Чума (Chuma), another raw Macedonian black metal entity.
Aeloth ultimately dissolved, leaving behind a compact but intense body of work that reflects the darker, more arcane side of North Macedonia’s black metal landscape. Its releases remain cult artifacts—harsh, atmospheric and steeped in ancient, occult imagery.
