Alkohomania is a raw, abrasive black metal/ambient project from Rokiškis, Lithuania, founded in 2024 by the prolific underground musician Wand3rer, known for his involvement in numerous extreme projects across the Lithuanian scene. The project embraces a deliberately provocative aesthetic, merging crude humour, alcohol‑soaked chaos, and extremist historical imagery with a lo‑fi, hostile sonic palette. Its sound is rooted in primitive black metal riffing, harsh minimalism, and bleak ambient textures, often delivered through extremely limited cassette releases that reinforce its cult, underground identity. The debut demo Total Jäger MadneSS (2024) established Alkohomania’s core formula: raw, drunken black metal with abrasive production and thematically transgressive content. The release, self‑issued in only five hand‑numbered copies, features tracks such as “Drinking and Driving,” “Ĺ˝ydĹł TylÄ—jimas,” and “A Tribute to Irma Grese,” combining chaotic riffing with crude lyrical themes. The project’s sonic approach is intentionally unrefined—distorted guitars, primitive drum programming, and harsh vocals buried in tape saturation—evoking the aesthetics of early raw black metal and underground NSBM demo culture. The second demo, Die Okkulte Kunst Des Hakenkreuzes (2024), released through German Underground Productions, continues this trajectory with a focus on occult‑nationalist themes and wartime mythologizing. The material remains single‑sided and extremely limited, featuring tracks like “The Witch of Buchenwald,” “General Storm,” and a Grausamkeit cover, further situating the project within a lineage of raw, transgressive black metal. The atmosphere is harsher and more ritualistic, with extended ambient passages and martial undertones. Encyclopaedia Metallum: The Metal Archives

The third demo, The Ancient Symbols of Vril (2024), issued by JU‑87 Produktionen, expands the project’s fixation on esoteric and pseudo‑historical themes. While still rooted in raw black metal minimalism, this release incorporates more ambient elements, creating a colder, more hypnotic soundscape. Thematically, it leans into occult‑fascist mythologies and cosmic‑esoteric narratives, aligning with the project’s overall aesthetic direction. Discogs

Across all releases, Alkohomania maintains an uncompromisingly underground ethos: extremely limited physical editions, harsh and unpolished sound, and a provocative thematic identity that situates the project firmly within the extreme fringes of the Lithuanian black metal underground.
