Beauty’s Gone is a one‑man depressive and atmospheric black metal project from Poland, active since 2013 and shaped entirely by the musician known as November. Originating between Gliwice, Brzesko, and later Rybnik, the project embodies the bleakest emotional territories of the genre, channeling themes of melancholy, solitude, nostalgia, pain, and emotional numbness through a minimalist yet deeply evocative sound. Beauty’s Gone is rooted in the raw, introspective aesthetics of DSBM, but its atmospheric layers and melodic sensibility give the music a wider emotional and cinematic scope.
The debut album “Return to the Unconsciousness” (2014) introduced November’s characteristic style: sorrow‑laden riffs, distant screams, and a suffocating sense of inner collapse. With “In the Yellow Rain of Autumn Leaves” (2017), the project expanded its atmospheric dimension, weaving longer, more immersive compositions that evoke the decay and beauty of nature as metaphors for emotional erosion. The third full‑length, “Gravestone of the Past World” (2020), stands as the project’s most mature and refined work, blending depressive black metal bleakness with melancholic ambience and a stronger narrative flow. Across all releases, Beauty’s Gone remains uncompromisingly personal, introspective, and emotionally raw, securing its place within the Polish DSBM and atmospheric black metal underground.
