Crnobog was a short‑lived but potent black metal project from Velika Plana, active during the mid‑2010s and centered entirely around the prolific Serbian underground musician Pakost. Named after the Slavic deity of darkness, Crnobog embraced a raw, hostile, and mythologically charged form of black metal—anti‑Christian, death‑obsessed, and steeped in regional folklore.

The project’s sound was harsh and unadorned: cold tremolo riffs, relentless drumming (programmed or self‑performed), and Pakost’s signature venomous vocal delivery. Crnobog fit squarely within the Serbian tradition of raw, ideologically aggressive black metal, but with a distinctly Slavic mythic undercurrent that set it apart from purely Satanic contemporaries.
