Goatsmegma is a ferocious black/death metal act from Tallinn, formed in 2018 and quickly recognized for their uncompromising extremity, violent thematic focus, and deliberately provocative aesthetic. Their sound fuses the chaotic savagery of bestial black/death with the pounding weight of old‑school death metal, drenched in distortion, filth, and ritualistic aggression. From the beginning, the band embraced a confrontational identity—musically, visually, and lyrically—drawing from the tradition of acts like Archgoat, Blasphemy, and early Impaled Nazarene while injecting their own Estonian underground venom.

Their debut full‑length, Demonic Goat Smegma Eating Ritual (2019), established the band’s core formula: relentless blast‑driven violence, cavernous vocals, and riffs that oscillate between primitive blackened chaos and crushing death‑metal heaviness. The album circulated widely in the extreme underground, earning Goatsmegma a reputation as one of Estonia’s most savage contemporary metal exports.

In 2020, the band released a split with Antichrist, which received strong praise for its raw intensity and sharpened songwriting. The split showcased Goatsmegma at their most vicious—faster, tighter, and even more blasphemous—cementing their place within the international bestial black/death scene.

Their second full‑length, Goat Separatist Movement (2022), expanded their sonic arsenal with thicker production, more defined riff structures, and an even more militant approach to their anti‑Christian and hyper‑violent themes. The album demonstrated the band’s evolution without sacrificing the primal filth that defines their identity.

Goatsmegma’s reputation for chaotic live performances culminated in Live at Black Silesia Festival V (2023), capturing the band’s raw stage presence before an international audience. The recording reflects their ability to translate studio brutality into a feral, unrestrained live assault.

The band continues to push forward, contributing to the 2025 split Impurity Manifesto, further aligning themselves with the global underground of extreme, transgressive black/death metal. With members deeply rooted in the Estonian scene—many active in other extreme projects—Goatsmegma stands as one of the country’s most aggressive and unapologetically blasphemous modern acts.
