Lost in Sorrow is a depressive black metal project founded in 2024 in Bucharest, centered entirely around the creative vision of Vox Doloris. The project focuses on themes of emotional abandonment, inner collapse, and the suffocating solitude of self‑imposed isolation. Its sound is rooted in melancholic guitar lines, fragile atmospheres, and anguished vocal delivery, blending classic DSBM aesthetics with a modern, intimate approach to emotional expression.

The debut single Lost in Sorrow (2024) introduced the project’s raw and vulnerable tone, followed by Chamber of My Own Demise, which deepened its exploration of psychological decay. The EPs Grief and Eternal Silence (both 2024) expanded the project’s sonic palette, offering longer, more immersive compositions. In 2025, Lost in Sorrow released the EP Where I Bled… and the single I Left Myself for Her, culminating in the full‑length Springtime Melancholia, a work that captures the project’s most complete and emotionally devastating expression to date.
