The Last Chant of the Forest is not a band.

Born in Italy in 2018, the project emerged from the breath of ancient trees and the sorrow of forgotten groves—those silent witnesses to centuries of carving, burning, and burial. Its founder, Kenduenir, envisioned a vessel through which the spirits of nature could finally speak again. Not as myth. Not as metaphor. But as memory.

Rooted in blackgaze, the music of The Last Chant of the Forest is woven from moss and starlight, shaped by wind‑worn stone and the pulse of the soil.

The First Omen — Wrath of the Storm Lord

Before the full unveiling of their cosmic‑ecological vision, the band released their first single, “Wrath of the Storm Lord”, on February 23, 2025.
This track served as the opening fissure, the first crack in the poisoned sky.
A storm‑born prophecy, it paved the way for their highly anticipated debut full‑length, announcing that the forest had begun to stir.

The Golden Comet — The First Spell

Their debut album, The Golden Comet, is the first great incantation.
A celestial omen streaking across a dying horizon, it heralds the return of balance long denied.
Its songs shimmer with cosmic melancholy and terrestrial fury—an alchemical fusion of bark and bone, root and star, earth and ether.
