Keyarzus was a short‑lived German symphonic/atmospheric black metal project active between 2010 and 2016. The project centered entirely on the vision of Marius, who handled all instruments and vocals. Keyarzus combined melodic black metal foundations with sweeping symphonic arrangements, cosmic themes, and a strong sense of cinematic atmosphere. Their sound leaned heavily on keyboards, layered ambience, and soaring melodic lines, giving their early recordings a distinctly astral, dreamlike quality.

The project’s first release, the Across the Universe EP (2011), introduced this cosmic‑leaning symphonic style. The same period produced enough material for Compilation 2010–2011, gathering early tracks and sketches. Their full‑length Changes: Our Reflections in the Sky (2012) stands as the project’s most complete statement—a blend of atmospheric black metal, orchestral elements, and introspective, sky‑gazing themes. The final EP, …the Day the Trees Began to Fly (2013), pushed further into ethereal territory before the project quietly dissolved a few years later.

Though Keyarzus remained underground, their work captured a particular moment in early‑2010s atmospheric black metal: ambitious, melodic, and driven by a single creator’s expansive imagination.

Keyarzus remains a small but evocative fragment of Germany’s symphonic/atmospheric black metal underground—cosmic, melodic, and entirely shaped by one musician’s vision.
