ŠžŠ³ŃšŠµŠ½Š° ŠšŠ¾Ń‡ŠøŃ˜Š° (“Flaming Chariot”) is a long‑running pagan metal band from Novi Sad, active since 2009 and rooted firmly in Slavic mythology, ancestral memory, and the folkloric spirit of Vojvodina. Their music blends melodic pagan metal with folk‑inflected motifs, mid‑tempo riffing, and a strong emphasis on narrative—invoking gods, rituals, and mythic landscapes. The band’s identity is built around a sense of cultural continuity: ancient Slavic imagery refracted through modern metal.

After an initial burst of activity—demo, singles, and early live presence—the band went on hold from late 2014 to 2016. Their return culminated in the 2019 full‑length Pod hrastom, a mature and atmospheric work that solidified their place in the Serbian pagan metal lineage. The album leans into melodic guitar lines, ritualistic rhythms, and a warm, earthy production that suits their mythological themes.

ŠžŠ³ŃšŠµŠ½Š° ŠšŠ¾Ń‡ŠøŃ˜Š°’s lineup has evolved over the years, but the creative center has always been MiloÅ” Kostić, whose vocals and guitar work define the band’s tone. The addition of lead guitarist Daniel Danyi in 2021 brought a more expressive, melodic dimension to their sound, while the rhythm section—anchored by bassist Nikola MiloÅ”ević and drummer Ivan GaÅ”par—connects the band to the broader Novi Sad underground.

Their aesthetic sits comfortably alongside regional pagan and folk‑infused acts, but with a distinctly Serbian flavor: reverence for ancestors, mythic storytelling, and a sense of rootedness in local tradition.
