Satan’s Acolytes is one of the most feral, high‑octane hybrids in the modern Serbian underground—a band that fuses black metal, speed metal, and punk into a single, volatile strain of sleaze‑ridden extremity. Formed in 2017 in Novi Sad, the project channels the spirit of early Bathory, Motörhead, and the filthiest corners of the Balkan speed‑punk tradition. Their music is fast, abrasive, and unapologetically hedonistic, with lyrics steeped in Satanic imagery, drug‑fueled chaos, and occult provocation.
The band quickly embedded itself into the regional underground through a string of EPs and singles in 2018, including The Horns, Hymns of Mayhem, and Scourge from Hell—all short, sharp bursts of blackened speed metal. Their 2019 split Satanic Hordes further cemented their presence.
Satan’s Acolytes have also been active contributors to Serbian extreme‑metal compilations, appearing on RISING – Extreme Metal Compilation (2018), Underground Muzika: Tajne Mape Podzemlja 1 (2020), and SlavaSvetlu / SlužbaTami (2023). Tracks like “Metal i Spid” and “Speed Metal Genocide” capture the band’s ethos perfectly: reckless, fast, and dripping with underground attitude.
The lineup stabilized in 2022, with Sharp Spitfire taking over vocals in addition to guitars, supported by a rhythm section drawn from Novi Sad’s sludge, punk, and black‑metal circles.
