Satifer is one of the more enduring and quietly persistent black‑metal projects from central Serbia—a band born in 2006, dissolved before releasing anything, and resurrected in 2012 with a sharpened, misanthropic vision. Their sound is rooted in raw black metal, but with a distinctly Serbian emotional register: bitterness, existential corrosion, and a sense of spiritual exhaustion.

The band’s early years were defined by rehearsals, lineup instability, and a refusal to record. Only after reforming in 2012 did Satifer begin releasing material, starting with the Seven Priests demo and quickly followed by the full‑length Mass Grave of Humanity (2013). These works established the band’s thematic core—hatred, emptiness, and the collapse of human value—delivered through harsh vocals, serrated riffing, and a cold, unadorned production style.

The 2013 EP No One – Nothing and subsequent singles (Devouring Abyss, You Are 7th, A.B.A.L.A.M) continued this trajectory, each release a fragment of the same bleak worldview. Satifer’s output is compact but consistent, reflecting a band that creates only when the internal pressure demands it.

At the center of the project is I, whose vocals and guitar work define Satifer’s identity. The surrounding lineup has shifted over the years, drawing in musicians from Čačak’s punk, death‑metal, and black‑metal circles, giving the band a hybrid local DNA.
