Tryglav is a one-man project of Boris Behara.Even though Behara is originally from Croatia, the band was founded in Arezzo, Italy. Tryglav is named after Mount Triglav, the highest mountain in Slovenia, and also the three-headed deity in Slavic mythology. The project name is spelled with "Y" instead of "I" because Boris considered it more appropriate.
Boris Behara, known online as BorisT, is a Croatian-born multi‑instrumentalist, YouTuber, and the sole creator behind the melodic black metal project Tryglav.
Born in Croatia and later transplanted to Italy, he founded Tryglav in Arezzo, Tuscany in 2018 after years of playing with other musicians who didn’t share his vision. The project’s name references Mount Triglav and the three‑headed deity of Slavic mythology, a nod to his cultural roots.
As his YouTube presence grew, so did the recognition of his music. Reviews frequently highlight the unusual crossover: a horror‑loving YouTuber crafting some of the most engaging modern black metal. One Italian review explicitly notes him as “uno youtuber croato, vissuto in Italia e recentemente trasferitosi in Norvegia”—a Croatian YouTuber who lived in Italy and recently relocated to Norway.
Now based in Moss, Østfold, Norway, Behara continues to write, record, and produce Tryglav entirely on his own, channeling themes of horror, murder, and psychological darkness into tightly constructed melodic black metal. His debut Night of Whispering Souls established him as a rising figure, and his follow‑up The Ritual reinforced his reputation, praised for its energy, hooks, and cinematic atmosphere.
