Formed in 1988 by Deörþ, Morgoth and Cernunnos on the ashes of black/death metal band called Nasty. One of Ragnarok's songs, "Legion of Death" originally appeared on Nasty demo back in 1987.
In 2000, the band were halfway recording their third album "Þridda" when Neat Records was folded and sold off to Sanctuary Records Records. Everything from these sessions has since been lost.
