Everything Dies was a short‑lived but emotionally intense depressive black metal project from Belgrade, active between 2010 and early 2013. The band operated as a tight, insular collective, channeling themes of psychological collapse, despair, and existential darkness through a deliberately raw and minimalistic sound. Their music leaned heavily on the hallmarks of DSBM: distant screams, repetitive melodic phrasing, lo‑fi production, and an atmosphere of suffocating emotional weight.
The group’s internal dynamics were volatile from the beginning, and by early 2013 the band dissolved acrimoniously, leaving behind a small but resonant body of work. Everything Dies performed live only once in 2011—a rare moment of public presence for a project otherwise defined by isolation and inward focus.
Although the band had already split up, a final single titled Nestajem surfaced in 2016. Its release appears to have been archival rather than a sign of renewed activity, offering a last glimpse into the project’s bleak emotional landscape. The track reflects the same tortured introspection that defined their earlier material, serving as a posthumous echo of the band’s ethos.
Everything Dies is remembered within the Serbian underground as a raw, unfiltered expression of depressive black metal—brief, turbulent, and sincere in its portrayal of emotional ruin.
