NoĹľem na Tenk (“With a Knife Against a Tank”) was a short‑lived Belgrade underground project active around 2008–2009, operating in the volatile hybrid zone between raw black metal and punk. The band embraced a deliberately abrasive, confrontational aesthetic—musically primitive, ideologically provocative, and aligned with the chaotic DIY ethos of the late‑2000s Belgrade extreme underground.

Their only known release, the 2009 demo Balkan vernichtet Europa (Demo ’09), reflects this rawness: lo‑fi production, punk‑inflected riffing, and a black‑metal vocal approach that leans more toward street‑level aggression than atmospheric expression. The project’s themes were explicitly political and regional, channeling anger, frustration, and Balkan‑centric hostility into a deliberately unrefined sonic form.

The lineup consisted of two underground figures known primarily through their other projects:

The band’s imagery and posture were intentionally provocative, but musically they fit into a recognizable niche: the raw, punk‑driven branch of Serbian black metal that surfaced sporadically in the late 2000s, often tied to micro‑scenes, rehearsal‑room recordings, and ephemeral collaborations.

NoĹľem na Tenk dissolved quietly, leaving behind only their single demo and a faint footprint in the Belgrade underground’s more chaotic, politically charged corner.
