Osakaćen is a raw black metal project from Stara Pazova, operating in the bleak, lo‑fi, emotionally corrosive wing of the Serbian underground. The name itself—“Osakaćen” meaning “mutilated”—captures the project’s aesthetic: stripped to the bone, hostile, depressive, and deliberately unrefined. Emerging quietly and releasing material at a relentless pace, Osakaćen embodies the hyper‑prolific, digital‑era DSBM/raw‑black model, where atmosphere and emotional violence matter far more than production polish.

The project’s core creator, Curser, handles all instruments and vocals. His work across Vesperá, Psoglav, and Varenie Kliatby already situates him within the darker, more introspective corners of the Serbian and regional underground. Osakaćen is his most abrasive outlet—raw guitars, suffocating distortion, and vocals that sit somewhere between a howl and a wound.

What makes Osakaćen unusual is the sheer volume of material released in a very short time. Throughout late 2023, the project issued a rapid sequence of digital‑only releases—singles, EPs, and short albums—each one a snapshot of a particular emotional state: melancholy, misanthropy, isolation, or outright despair. These releases form a kind of diary of psychological collapse, delivered through the medium of raw black metal.

The only physical‑format appearance so far is the 2024 split Extreme, Pagan, Satanic, Depressed, Brotherhood, released by Grim Reaper Records, which marks Osakaćen’s entry into the tape‑trading underground.
